Constipation Dog 1-5 Years

The most common causes for constipation in dogs this age are intestinal parasites, foreign bodies lodged in the large intestine, or anal sac disease. In this age range, however, constipation can occassionally result from pain and neuromuscular deficiency caused by disease of the intervertebral discs of the spine.
