Eyelid Epithelioma Kitten

At this age, and eyelid lesion that looks like this is most likely a benign (not cancerous) type of mass called an epithelioma. The physical characteristics of this lesion could also be consistent with another type of benign mass known as a basal cell tumor. While cancer would be rare in a cat this young, masses that look like this occasionally present as malignant (cancerous) masses known as adenocarcinoma. As such, it is always recommended to have any unusual lumps or masses checked by a veterinarian.
