  1. John says:

My chocolate Lab has been showing signs of stiffness after a good play date at the park or hike. Just recently we went to the park and she retrieved for about 30/40 min (Sunday) and she could not bare any weight on her right back leg for quite some time after her nap. It did loosen up after a while, but she was still very stiff. This morning she seemed to be back to normal, but still is having a tough time jumping into a car or onto a bed.

She is almost 8 years old, weight is very good, very healthy eating and drinking lots of water. I give her glucosamine tabs in the morning and have been giving her a baby aspirin or 2 after a highly active hike or run.

Is there something else I can do to help her?

Is there something I should be concerned with?
