My dog will be 5 years old this month, he’s a dachshund beagle mix I’ rescued from our local shelter at 7 months and 3 weeks old. We bought a house in the country and since then he has lost a crazy amount of weight, ribs/spine/hip bones showing. Just tonight he is hot to the touch and will not eat or drink and his gums are pale.I have dewormed him about a week ago.. he has some fleas but no ticks. I have bathed in a flea and tick shampoo to aid with the fleas, he’s an indoor dog and is prone to seizures. It ws diagnosed as epilepsy several months ago ! However they have consistently gotten worse as well. Was thinking intestinal parasites but not sure .. please help. Will be taking to the vet soon..
